Mr Colin Gonsalves (Senior. Advocate Supreme Court) got audience’s attention to the fact that how the food being eaten by us is getting infected by the heavy use of pesticides and is one of the major cause of many diseases.
New Delhi, India: Taxpayers Association of Bharat (TAXAB) held a seminar in New Delhi on May 15, 2013 to foster greater interest in our Rights for Unadulterated Food, Pure Water & Clean Air U/A 21 of Constitution, familiarize the participants with the TAXAB’s work and provide a forum to exchange views.

About TAXAB: Tax Payers Association of Bharat
Taxpayers Association of Bharat (TAXAB) is an independent advocacy group of conscious, responsible, law-abiding Taxpayers who wish to actively contribute to the nation-building process. As active contributors to the tax revenues of the nation, TAXAB has emerged as a powerful voice to reach out to the government with citizenship concerns and demands. Our members pledge their allegiance to the nation by paying their taxes on time.
Taxpayers have been Contributing for the Development of Bharat & Society since 1947. The money paid by them in terms of Taxes is used for Growth, Development & Security of Nation, Services for Citizens and many more. Taxpayers are the earning members of the Nation. They are the NATION BUILDERS. We, the Taxpayers and Citizens are the owners of the Country. There is no Organization to take care of Welfare of Taxpayers and there is No Special Facility or Advantage for them from the Govt. This is why there is No Motivation amongst Citizens to become Taxpayer or to pay more Taxes.
There is no system that can allow Taxpayers to give their input on how the money collected from them must be spent. This is Taxpayers responsibility to check whether Public Representatives elected by them and Public Servants are using their Funds Properly or not? If their funds contributed through Taxes are being misused than who are Responsible and for what Taxpayers are afraid to raise their voice against the Poor System.
In order to create a Forum for Discussion and Represent Issues of the Taxpayers, who are the Contributors to the Country’s Exchequer, we have an Organization created as a first step. Step into the Organization. Be active from your desk. Send messages and get heard.
